11 Nights 12 Days
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport and Transfer to Kampala
Depending on your arrival time, you will be met by our driver guide and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Kampala or Entebbe.
Day 2: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Begin the panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luweero Triangle and, travel to Masindi via Ziwa Rhino with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking. Have lunch and after lunch, drive to Murchison where you will visit the top of the falls as you have a specular view of the mighty water falls. Drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
After your breakfast, you will cross the Nile by ferry to the northern bank of the park where your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for lunch.
After lunch, go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kobs not missing bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, and many more, then hike to the top of the falls and your driver guide will be waiting for you to drive you back to the lodge. Overnight and dinner at your hotel.
Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale
Early morning after your breakfast you will have a long drive to the western part of Uganda to Kibale pass tea plantations and beautiful landscapes with lunch enroute. Arrive at your hotel check-in, have dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Walk
After early breakfast, transfer to Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzee in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee. After lunch visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. Drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park viewing the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. Check in at your accommodation facility as you wait for your lunch. After lunch, take on an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel one that joins Lakes Edward and George. The cruise is a wonderful way to see hippo, buffalo, kob and the occasional Nile crocodile (which up until recently did not inhabit this area) and a spectacular bird watching on the water bank. Many who experience the launch cruise consider it the high light of their entire African safari. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park and Boat Cruise.
Early morning you after breakfast you will go for a morning game drive in the northern section of the park where you are most likely to meet grazing Hippos, Elephants, and Lions, spotted Hyenas, bush buck, water buck, stripped jackal, comical warthogs and leopards. Later transfer to Bwindi. Arrive Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 8: Gorilla Tracking and Batwa Community
After breakfast set off to UWA briefing point where you will be briefed about gorillas. You will be grouped in a group of 8 people where you will track Gorillas and tracking takes about 3 to 4 hours depending where the gorillas will be. Later have lunch and after lunch you will go on a community foot safari to explore the life style of the Batwa people. Return for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 9: Bwindi to Kampala
After early breakfast, drive back to Kampala with a visit to Igongo Cultural village to explore and learn the Bahima and Ankole culture. This is the place where the future meets the past. Continue your drive to the Equator crossing with lunch en route before you drive to back to Kampala for overnight at your lodge.
Day 10: Kampala – Jinja
Early this morning after your breakfast, our driver guide will pick you at your place or hotel of residence ready for a drive to the adventure capital Jinja. Jinja lies in the south east of Uganda, 54 miles (87 km) north east of the capital, Kampala. It is located on the shores of Lake Victoria. A visit to Sezibwa falls and Mabira forest en route is very rewarding. Later proceed to Jinja for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 11: White Water Rafting in Jinja
Early morning after your breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your hotel and transfer you to Jinja for rafting briefing, here you choose to raft in the paddle-powered boats for one of the wildest raft rides on the planet, or opt to be rowed downstream by our professional guides in the safety raft. After lunch you will hit a series of more wild rapids and in the evening drive too your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Transfer from Jinja to Entebbe.
Early morning you will have your breakfast, depending on your flight time you can choose to explore Jinja with a visit to the source of the Nile and later transfer to Entebbe International Airport to catch up your flight back home.
